LUKE SANDERS DOMINATES BLANCO IN UFC DEBUT

With a devastating left cross followed by an unyielding rear naked chokehold, ESQ MMA fighter “Cool Hand” Luke Sanders (11-0 MMA; 1-0 UFC) remained unbeaten as he defeated UFC veteran Maximo Blanco by first round submission (Round 1,3:38) during UFC Fight Night 81 Sunday Night in Boston.  Sanders controlled the pace of the fight digging in with an onslaught of vicious pinpoint leg kicks before the southpaw landed a picture perfect left hand, which put Blanco to the mat. From there, Sanders forced a submission in a matter of seconds for the dramatic victory.  Sanders’ opponent, Maximo Blanco, had not lost a professional fight in two years before meeting Luke’s cool (and powerful), left hand. Sanders, fighting on only two weeks notice and moving up ten pounds in weight, triumphed against all odds in his impressive UFC debut during the nationally televised event broadcast on Fox Sports 1.  Sanders remains undefeated and  is ready and willing to take on all challengers.  A  truly impressive win for Sanders – another star is born out of the city of Nashville.
