Che Mock is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee. He earned a M.A. in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina Graduate School. While earning his degree, Mock worked with the College Sports Research Institute (CSRI), which examines the most pressing issues and concerns of NCAA athletes. As an advocate for college athletes, Mock served as the Chairman of the CSRI Scholarly Conference on College Sports.

Mock earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Mock worked for the general counsel of a national non-profit community development lender and was the President of the Sports and Entertainment Lawyers Association at UNC.

After earning his law degree, Mock joined the Commercial Transactions and Real Estate Practice of Bass, Berry & Sims, the largest law firm in Tennessee. Mock has represented developers in the purchase and sale of commercial properties and served as counsel for borrowers and lenders in mortgage and construction loans and other large scale financings; Mock has been involved in some of the largest public transactions in the state of Tennessee, ranging from 5 million to 3.2 billion.

Prior to law school, Mock earned a B.S. in Education, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee. In his spare time, Mock coaches the Vanderbilt women’s club soccer team and enjoys football, basketball, golf, and traveling.
